About
Kyra Weaver, LMFT

I have lived in the Eugene community for over 30 years, earning my undergraduate degree at the U of O with a major in psychology and a minor in philosophy. My Masters degree from the U of O's Couple and Family Therapy program gave me the theoretical base and practical therapeutic tools to be confident in my practice. My family, friends, colleagues and clients tell me that I have a knack for finding hope and momentum when life's struggles feel overwhelming.

My passion is helping couples create a safe, nurturing relationship, which often translates into a positive environment and parenting style for those moving through the transition into parenthood. I have spent time volunteering in peripartum birth classes and often find myself working closely with clients' midwives and OBGYNs. This transition into parenthood creates its own set of difficulties that are often overlooked and underappreciated.

When I am not practicing therapy, I spend most of my time with my two daughters, my husband and my giant dog. My running, gardening, and love of the outdoors, as well as volunteering in children's educational and sports activities demands the remainder of my time.
